Studying with illness

The Dean's Office of Mechanical Engineering expressly supports all people who want to become successful engineers, even with individual limitations. Since chronic and/or mental illnesses can lead to disadvantages in the achievement of study or examination achievements, a disadvantage compensation can be raised. The aim of a disadvantage compensation is to compensate for this disadvantage by modifying the study or examination achievements to be achieved. Who can apply for compensation for disadvantages and what this can look like can be found in the explanations on compensation for disadvantages.

You can find explanations and the application for compensation for disadvantages on the website of Leibniz University Hannover.
