The institutes of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering are mainly active in the fields of production engineering, energy and process engineering as well as design and development. Qualified professors teach and conduct research in their special fields and are supported by numerous scientific staff members who are both integrated into the teaching programme and promote their own research. They receive competent support from the many administrative and technical staff.
