APPLICATION PERIODS FOR BACHELOR PROGRAMMES

APPLICATION PERIODS MASTER PROGRAMMES

  • Master's application - for prospective students from Germany and EU countries

    Winter semester 2020/21

    • For the winter semester 2020/21 the application is possible from  15. April 2020 - 31. May 2020 for the English-language Master's programmes Energy Technology, International Mechatronics  and International Horticulture.
    • For the winter semester 2020/21 the application is possible from 02. June 2020 - 15. July 2020 for all other Master's programmes.
  • Master's application process for Non-EU applicants

    Winter semester 2020/21

    • For the winter semester 2020/21 the application is possible from 15. April 2020 - 31. May 2020 for all Master's programmes that also start in the summer semester and have an early application deadline for applications from non-EU countries.
    • For the winter semester 2020/21 the application is possible from 02. June 2020 - 15. July 2020 for all Master's programmes that also start in the summer semester and have no early application deadline for applications from non-EU countries.
    • For students resuming their studies and transfer students (application in a higher semester) the application is possible from 15. April 2020 - 31. May 2020.

Please note: Not all Master's programs at Leibniz Universität have the same application deadlines! Please inform yourself as soon as possible whether there have been any changes to the application deadlines for your desired degree programme.

Important information on VISA

Many international students need a visa to study in Germany.  Please contact the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for information about visa requirements.
