SWARM Biotactics GmbH, a pioneer in bio-robotics based in Kassel, is looking for a working student to support our team as soon as possible. Are you a hands-on, detail-oriented student with an interest in rapid prototyping? Join us to gain practical experience in a dynamic start-up environment and contribute to building real systems.
What You’ll Do
- CAD design (SolidWorks)
- Rapid prototyping (3D printing, assembly, fabrication)
- Testing, debugging, and iteration
- Lab organization and equipment management
- Clear documentation of designs, tests, and results
Who You Are
- Student in Engineering, Robotics, Physics, Design, or a related field
- Experience with CAD and/or hands-on prototyping
- Interest in mechatronic systems (metamaterials are a plus)
- Proactive, practical, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Able to document work clearly
- Fluent in English (working language)
- Eligible to work in Germany
