A doctoral degree at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Leibniz University Hannover offers exciting prospects and diverse opportunities. Doctoral researchers are actively involved in our research institutes, work on current research topics, and have the chance to contribute their own scientific ideas. The positions are remunerated in accordance with salary group 13 TV-L (100%).

Not everyone chooses to pursue a degree – some prefer to enter working life directly, gain practical experience, and earn their own income. At the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, it is possible to complete vocational training in a variety of professions.
For example, you can train as an office management assistant or as an industrial mechanic. Current vacancies are published on the websites of our institutes as well as on the Leibniz University Hannover job portal. The Faculty’s Dean’s Office also offers training positions: Vocational training at the Dean’s Office.
