The FIOs represent the interests of their faculty with regard to IT issues. Therefore it is necessary that every FIO captures the actual situation of IT within their faculty and can display it in order to create the greatest possible transparency. On the other hand, FIOs report to their faculty on the IT situation of Leibniz Universität as a whole (actual, target and roadmap). This should enable the faculties to integrate themselves into the overall IT strategy of LUH or to contribute their own suggestions.
