The Examination Board of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering serves as the central body for all matters related to examinations. It ensures that examinations are conducted properly in accordance with the applicable legal regulations and that the relevant examination regulations are observed. In addition, the Board or a body appointed by it maintains examination records and regularly informs the Faculty Council about developments in the examination process.

The responsibilities of the Board include processing appeals and student requests, such as those concerning extensions of deadlines, absences, compensation for disadvantages, or particular cases of hardship. The Board also reviews the recognition of academic and examination achievements obtained at other higher education institutions, in different degree programmes, or through professional experience. Furthermore, it supports the Office of Academic Affairs in organising and coordinating study and examination administration.
The Examination Board comprises professors, academic staff members, and students of the Faculty. Meetings are generally not open to the public, and resolutions are adopted once a majority of the voting members are present. Through its work, the Examination Board makes a significant contribution to ensuring the quality and fairness of examinations within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
