Erasmus

You can study within the Erasmus+ programme at Leibniz University Hannover if your home university has an Erasmus+ agreement with one of our faculties. If you are interested in an Erasmus+ exchange at Leibniz University Hannover, please ask your home university whether an Erasmus+ agreement with Leibniz University Hannover exists in your degree programme.

If you are aiming for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in one of the study programmes at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and do not have a German school leaving certificate, please enquire about the various application procedures on the website of Leibniz University Hannover.

GEARE - Programme

Purdue is one of the most renowned universities in the USA, especially in the field of engineering. Within the framework of the GEARE (Global Engineering Alliance for Research and Education) - exchange program between the School of Mechanical Engineering of Purdue University (West Lafayette, Indiana/USA) and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Leibniz Universität Hannover, students from the USA can come to Hanover from January to the end of August of each year, within the framework of an internship and study visit.

Science & Engineering Research Projects

The Science & Engineering Research Projects program provides students with a unique opportunity to obtain practical scientific knowledge by being a part of a professional research team at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany (LUH). Science and Engineering students are fully integrated within their designated institute. During the program, students are introduced to German science & engineering within the university and in an industrial environment. Students will visit international known companies based in Hanover and its region, for example VW Nutzfahrzeuge (VW Utility Vehicles), Sennheiser, or Lenze Electric.
